The school organizes and participates in a wide variety of events and seminars related to science, research, and the creative sectors of video games and animation. ISART strives to create events that foster exchanges between students, researchers, and industry experts.
November 2025
ISART’s research team took part in the 24th joint meeting of the CNRS working groups.
Two ISART R&D projects were presented during the event:
Game AI: Generation of Behavior Trees using local LLMs in Unreal Engine, in partnership with Leibniz Universität Hannover.
Animation: Exploration of hybrid AI/animation pipelines for visual creation, with a case study focused on Machiavelli, developed in collaboration with the studio SEPPIA.
This day of exchanges provided an opportunity to discover the latest academic research in France in the fields of video games, artificial intelligence, and artistic creation, while also fostering reflection on how research can address the current challenges facing the creative and cultural industries.
GAME JAM with the INRIA Center at the University of Lorraine

ISART DIGITAL is sponsoring and coordinating a GAME JAM in partnership with INRIA – LORIA in Nancy and is a member of the Jury Committee.
GAME JAM with École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne EPFL
September 2024
The research team is participating in a GameJam organized by the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne EPFL, with the theme of ISART’s GameWeek focusing on the dangers of information and trust in the media.
The objective was to demonstrate how video games can constitute a new means of communication for transmitting information by confronting players with choices and dilemmas on ethical and societal issues. Seminar “Expressive Games: Challenges for Research and Creation”
